Hello there! My name is Megan. I am a social worker and artist based in Tennessee. Art has been a major part of my life. I first stated taking art classes at our local museum in my home town at the age of 8 and have been drawing and painting ever since. I graduated college with a BFA in art education. I later pursed my masters degree in art education. After teaching art classes in public school, museums, and private businesses for a few years I realized I wanted to focus more on the healing aspects of art as therapy. I went back to school for my second masters degree in social work. When I graduated last year, I relocated just outside of the bustling city of Nashville, TN, to follow a career in medical social work. I am still active in my practice as an artist and look everyday for ways to combine creative expression in working with my clients.
